Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Underground Space

The Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Underground Space project (including Phase I and II) is the largest underground space development project in China and even Asia. The design concept follows the “small blocks and dense road network” development pattern of the Jiangbei New Area CBD, integrating large urban development units into a cohesive underground space.

The project encompasses commercial and leisure spaces, urban transportation, and municipal integrated utility tunnels. The total area includes 24 plots covering 52 hectares.

The deepest excavation reaches 51 meters, with seven levels, including a commercial flat layer, a transportation flat layer, a municipal integrated utility tunnel layer, an inter-tunnel layer, a cavity layer, and two metro layers. Once completed, the underground commercial area will cover approximately 600,000 square meters.

Nanjing Transportation Operations Management Group

Nanjing Transportation Operations Management Group is responsible for the integrated operation and management of key transportation infrastructure in Nanjing, including Changjiang Tunnel in Yingtian Avenue, Changjiang Tunnel in Dinghuan Gate, Jiangxinzhou Changjiang Bridge, and the Youth Olympic Axis Tunnel. Currently, the group ensures the safe passage of nearly 300,000 vehicles across the river daily, accounting for 48% of the total cross-river traffic in Nanjing. The group plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and smooth operation of cross-river channels in Nanjing, providing high-quality services in infrastructure operation, management, and maintenance, and contributing to the urban integrated development across the Changjiang River.

The Dispatch and Coordination Center is mainly responsible for the comprehensive dispatch, emergency response, and multi-party coordination of various incidents within the “Two Tunnels and One Bridge” under the company’s jurisdiction. The center’s operational command and dispatch system integrates advanced technology and innovative concepts, offering one-stop, efficient, and intelligent transportation operation management solutions. This system optimizes and upgrades the management of transportation projects, becoming a critical support for future intelligent transportation.

Jinling STYLE Romantic Center

Located at the foot of Zijin Mountain on the eastern shore of Xuanwu Lake, the Jinling STYLE Romantic Center covers an area of 55,000 square meters, with a total construction area exceeding 71,000 square meters and a commercial area of approximately 23,000 square meters. It is equipped with 805 parking spaces for cars and 40 spaces for buses. The center officially opened on December 30, 2022.

Zhenjiang Jinshan Lake
CSO Overflow Pollution Comprehensive Treatment Project

The Zhenjiang Jinshan Lake CSO Overflow Pollution Comprehensive Treatment Project aims to improve the water environment capacity of Jinshan Lake using the TMDL concept. It adopts a technical solution combining “deep intercepting main pipe + terminal storage and ecological treatment” to address issues such as low drainage and flood control standards and severe overflow pollution during rainy days in Zhenjiang’s old town. The project overcomes technical challenges such as dense above-ground buildings, complex underground pipelines, and the impossibility of fragmented treatment. It effectively reinforces the existing drainage system, improves the water quality of Jinshan Lake, enhances drainage and flood control standards, and meets the standards of the sponge city pilot.

The main pipe of the project uses a 4-meter diameter reinforced concrete pipe, laid along the shore of Jinshan Lake from west to east, then crossing the lake to the Zhenrunzhou Wastewater Treatment Plant in the north, and finally reaching the Changjiang River bank at Jingjiang Road. The project employs ultra-deep, heavy-duty, irregular-shaped sinking shafts, with the deepest sinking shaft reaching 37.1 meters, and the largest-diameter circular pipe-jacking currently used in China. Once completed, the project will offer flexible operation modes based on different rainfall intensities, realizing multiple functions. After the project is put into use, it will reduce pollutants entering Jinshan Lake by 91%, protect the water quality of Changjiang River in the Jinshan Lake section of Zhenjiang, and serve the surrounding 29 square kilometers of the sponge city pilot area, effectively responding to floods with a 30-year return period.

Jintan Salt Cavern Compressed
Air Energy Storage National Pilot Demonstration Project

The Jintan Salt Cavern Compressed Air Energy Storage National Pilot Demonstration Project is the world’s first large-scale non-combustion compressed air energy storage project, jointly invested and constructed by China Huaneng Group, China Salt Group, and Tsinghua University.

This project utilizes salt caverns formed by salt mining using water-solution methods to store compressed air absorbed during low electricity demand periods, which is then released to generate electricity during peak periods, achieving “peak shaving and valley filling” through energy “time-shifting.” It is an ideal method for large-scale compressed air energy storage.

The first phase of the project installs one non-combustion compressed air energy storage system, including four subsystems: air compression, heat storage, salt cavern gas storage, and power generation. The installed capacity is 60,000 kW, with an energy storage capacity of 300,000 kWh, and a designed electricity-to-electricity efficiency of 60%. The long-term goal is to achieve a scale of 1.2 million kW.

Wuxi Yixing Taozu Sacred Site Scenic Area - Muli Cave

Karst formations in Jiangsu Province are mainly distributed in the Ningzhen Yang Hilly areas, consisting primarily of dolomite, calcareous dolomite, limestone, and marlstone deposited during the Proterozoic and Paleozoic eras. Karst underground spaces are often developed for geological tourism, with Yixing City being the most successful in utilizing these spaces, earning the nickname “Cave Heaven.” Muli Cave, located in the Jintang Mountain in the southwest lake area of Yixing, is one of the largest karst caves in Yixing.

The cave’s scenery is magnificent and imposing, making it a newly blossomed gem among Yixing’s many karst caves and a splendid addition to the national Taihu Scenic Area. The total area of the cave is 8,200 square meters, with a waterway area of 1,750 square meters and a length of 750 meters.

NOTE: All planned technical inspection points are subject to potential fine-tuning in the future, and specific implementation details will be determined based on actual circumstances. Any changes will be promptly released through official channels. We kindly ask for your continued attention.
